Chirvan carpet Wool warp, weft and pile The rug is decorated with a series of three elongated yellow, red and navy blue medallions with geometric floral motifs, linked together on a navy blue background decorated with small geometric motifs. An ivory border with polychrome medallions framed by two small flowers is framed by two navy blue and red counter-borders. " Chirvan carpets are knotted in cities (Kuba, Dagestan) and villages (Tchi tchi, seikour, Pérépédil...).
