Special conditions for the purchase of category C weapons subject to declaration

For the purchase of category C weapons subject to declaration, the purchaser must provide identification and a valid hunting license for the year (or the previous year) or a valid shooting license (or the previous year).

Category C weapons will only be issued after consultation of the FINIADA file (Fichier National des Interdits d'acquisition et de détention d'armes). The buyer is responsible for a 25 € fee for consulting the file.

The registration of the buyer of a category C weapon in the FINIADA file will automatically lead to the nullity of the sale.

The signature of the police book by the buyer and the establishment of a CERFA is mandatory.

N.B.: Hunting or shooting guns are sold as is, without guarantee, no claim once the auction is pronounced will be taken into account; the previous exhibition having allowed to examine them, to take them in hand and to take all necessary measures.
