250 cc 51
4-stroke vertical single-cylinder

This bike was found by our collector in 2000/2001. After being restarted, it took part in the Coyote in 2012, then in Le Vigeant in 2015, where it broke its engine.
After rebuilding it, it took part in the Moto Légende Cup in 2016, again with Le Havre driver Jean-Pierre AUBERT.
The frame still has the center stand attachments that were fitted to early Mach 1/S models for Formula 3 homologation.
A restart will be necessary.
It is in excellent condition, and its original carburetor will be supplied with it.
Only a few dozen of this rare model will be hand-built by the factory.
According to Mr Gastaud, a former Marseilles dealer, there were :
6 bikes delivered to France, 3 or 4 to Germany, 2 to England and 6 to Switzerland.
The exact number of bikes produced is not known, but no more than a few dozen.
The SCs (for Sport Corsa) were very different from the Mach 1 production bikes on which they were based, and featured a double diagonal tube frame, sand-molded crankcases with the distinctive oil filter located centrally at the front of the crankcase, sand-molded 250 F3-type cylinder heads that used shorter camshafts, a special close-ratio 5-speed gearbox, upgraded brakes and different bodywork.
The exhaust is fixed by studs, and the sand-cast housing is similar to that of factory racing monos.
Clutch housing without the small inspection hatch.
Each bike was hand-assembled by the factory and is very rare to find today.
